How do I obtain my real estate License?
Your first step to a rewarding career in real estate begins with completing two pre-licensing courses, Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice. Each course requires 30 classroom hours. Successful completion of the courses is a prerequisite for the State Licensing Examination. Coldwell Banker Diamond, REALTORS® will be pleased to provide you with assistance in preparing for your real estate career. We will gladly guide you in registering for your courses and scheduling to take the state exam.
Pre-Licensing courses and exam preparation - We are prepared to offer you the guidance you need with your new career every step of the way. To get you started, we'll assist you in selecting one of the many local or regional schools and their current class schedules. Most offer a variety of classes designed to meet the needs of the students, and include evening and weekend courses.
State Licensing examination - Upon completion of the basic courses you will be ready to take the State exam. As part of our assisting you in your endeavor, we will provide you with all of the details you will need, including test locations.
